From London to Brighton
The London to Brighton Cycle Ride is a charity event held twice a year, inviting participants to cycle 55 miles in support of a charity of their choice. After getting more involved in cycling in London -and seeing the challenges the world faced in 2024—I was inspired to take part.
I decided to invite some friends and colleagues to join me in fundraising for Doctors Without Borders (MSF).
Together, Phil Crawley, Fred Easey, Daniel Bell, Bryan Cindell, Simon Hade, Tom Martin, and I took on this incredible challenge, cycling 55 miles on September 15th.
MSF provides emergency medical assistance to people affected by armed conflict, epidemics, and natural or man-made disasters. Operating in over 70 countries, they work without discrimination, going where others cannot or choose not to go—regardless of race, religion, gender, or political affiliation.
Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, we raised £3,121, surpassing our goal by 178%! To promote our fundraising efforts, I also designed a poster that we shared with friends, family, colleagues, and company partners. To capture the experience, I edited a video compilation using footage from my Insta360 X3 camera and clips from my teammates’ phones, preserving the memories of our unforgettable ride.
